GRANTS AND APPLICATION

Grant applications are declared open yearly in February together with details of deadlines. The information is published on the Foundation’s home page and in Suomen Lääkärilehti. The Board of the Foundation decides on the grants in May. A report of the use of the grant must be sent to the Foundation within two years from the awarding of the grant. The applicant may be invited for oral presentation in a Progress report meeting organized approximately every three years.

GRANTS 2023

Applications can be submitted for personal grants or travel support. The annual total amount of grants is approximately 30000 euros. Additional information is available if needed, please contact Professor Riitta Lassila (see below). Application deadline in 2024 will be 5.4.2024

  • Research plan (max. 4 pages). Summary (max. 200 words), background, aim, methods and patients, preliminary results, impact of the study.
  • List of publications. The applicant may want to list his/her five top publications from the past ten years. Reporting the journal impact factors is recommended.
